Mohamed Geraldez is a Californian entrepreneur and investor in a few different industries like the largest vegan necktie company in the world, a business & brand strategy firm based in London (UK), and (acquired) an online platform offering the best deals for tech gadgets. He is a strategic adviser to (acquired), a digital media distribution and monetization startup, and, an online peer-to-peer homestay network that connects travelers with rental spaces hosted by Muslims worldwide.

Mohamed continues to brainstorm how he can bring his most challenging endeavor, ReCenter Finance, to market in a meaningful way – Shariah compliant student loans in the USA. He briefly speaks about Halal student loans in this video.

After his first 2 years of colorful university life, Mohamed converted to Islam. This life-changing event had a significant effect upon his academic performance: Geraldez immediately made the Dean's List (and for every semester) until he graduated Cum Laude, and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. As a student of Hamza Yusuf, upon graduation, Mohamed went overseas to study the Islamic sciences for 4 years in Syria, Morocco and Mauritania with some of the most renowned legal and spiritual scholars of the Muslim world. He spent his final two years with Murabit al Hajj in the Saharan Desert. After studying abroad and becoming fluent in Arabic, Mohamed returned to the U.S. and obtained a master's degree in business (MBA).

He is the author of the forthcoming book "To God through Money," set to be released in the winter of 2018. Geraldez was also asked to present his unique personal story in the book by White Cloud Publications "All-American: 45 American Men on Being Muslim." The book can be ordered at

Mohamed enjoys surfing, fashion, technology, basketball, triathlons and reading Classic American Literature. Born and raised in Southern California, Mohamed currently resides in Europe and the US while traveling throughout the world for business and speaking engagements.
